- While we are careful not to damage anything, Bay Car Spa CC t/a U Shop We Drop or any of its employees does not accept responsibility for any loss or damage to any item while in transit.
- We do wrap items in blankets while loading but will charge extra if extra packaging is needed and we must be informed of this prior to the move.
- All insurance will be for the customer’s account if requested by the customer more than 24h prior to loading of any item.
- All freights must be quoted for in writing before work commences and we will provide the client with a comprehensive list to assist with the calculations.
- The Client’s filled in form will be used to check items being loaded onto a vehicle and any additional items will be noted and quoted for.
- The Client must sign on loading that he/she is satisfied that everything on the list was loaded and in good order and be present when we are offloading at the destination to sign off as well.
- We do not move building material but will move anything that can fit into the back of our truck during a move. Extra will be charged if the truck needs to be cleaned afterwards, because of the load.
- All moves quoted for within 7 days of the move, must be paid in full before the booking is confirmed.
- All moves quoted for 14 days or longer before the moving date will require a 50% deposit before a booking can be confirmed.
- Cancellation and full refund of the deposit can be possible if:
a. the client communicates the change in date or the cancellation of the move more than 7 days prior to the move
b. a move can be secured for the same date to another party to prevent loss of income - If a date was booked in the middle two weeks of the month and the client wants to move it to the Last or first week of the month, a 20% increase in price will be applicable given the fact that the change adheres to conditions stipulated in clause 10 above.
